Vinyl Scratch and Octavia work together really, really well. The way you've written them is excellent, and they seem like they'd make a really good comedy duo. My only complaint is that Vinyl's craziness seemed just a touch over the top/unexplained, but hopefully, you'll flesh her out in future chapters. And there damn well better be future chapters!

Brilliant work. I love how Vinyl Scratch's psychosis and stupidity bounce off excellently from Octavia's down-to-earth personality. If it weren't for Octavia's attempting to salvage her career, this wouldn't have been as funny as it is now.

Great work with adding some great, heart warming emotional value to the comedy. Celestia was a great example, and I love how you added all those serious problems with their relationship in so amusing a manner.

I look forward to what Vinyl Scratch does, and more importantly, how Octavia reacts.

PS. Excellent work with the Radio Wave joke.

Being a DJ myself, I ALWAYS love a vinyl scratch fanfic. This one was top notch however, from the use of system font giving it that little bit of authenticity to over the top eccentrism that many of us DJ's portray. Overall a real treat. (Although I'm not sure why the shipping label was applied *scratches head* I guess we will wait and see)

But here, DJ P0N-3 's atitude was just too trash-talk-crazy, and not enough cool-crazy...

Yeah, trash-talk radio-show thingy... but it doesn't fit her personality well...

This is easily my favorite portrayal of Scratch in any fanfic to date. Too many writers end up trying so hard to make her seem 'cool' that Scratch sounds like either a wannabe or some lame 90's television interpretation of a DJ.

I love the story 'Feedback' but even it is guilty of occasionally trying too hard to make Scratch's character work as the kind of 'you will never be as cool as this' persona I'm talking about.

Anyway what I'm trying to say is that eccentric Scratch just.. really works for some reason. She's still the kind of person that no one can keep up with, but it has more to do with her self-aggrandizing personality and exaggerated craziness.

As others have requested before; can someone PLEASE record this? I know there's quite a few voice actors in the fandom. Maybe we should spam the people who made the Friendship is Witchcraft abridged series with this awesome fanfic.

I enjoyed this. Scratch comes off as one of good kind of eccentric DJ's you get on local stations rather than Clear Channel PC bullshit, one who can get away with doing hard interviews on the air if she thinks that something the listeners want to hear will come out of it.

All in all, fun fic, waiting patiently for more!

I must admit, that I liked both parts very much (first was a little better in my opinion, but only a little). I must say however, that if you want to continue this story (although I think you could end it right here, and it would be cool), please find other way for exposition than "oops, I've left mic on", because twice is good enough, but third time it would be just silly and lazy.

I was thinking about maybe doing a one-shot prequel about Vinyl and Spitfire as fillies, but I haven't really fleshed it out yet. I'm not sure if I'll actually do it.

chapter one was good loved the chemistry there between Octy and Vinyle, I don't think you could of picked two better ponies for this..

And damn you Octavia and Spitfire for setting up the mood for a sad story filled with so much D'AWW, made me shed a tear or two there after making me laugh so much.

If there was to be an end to this series that last part sure did worked out enough for me! Even I laughed after a moment awkward silence with the fart noise.

On that note though I HOPE to see more brilliantly styled comedy like this again in a chapter 3?

I like these, they're really fun to read. Since reading the first one though I have wondered if they have once a week solo shows. Like on Friday nights maybe Vinyl does a remix rave show, sometimes live on location. While on Saturday nights Octavia does a show where she plays some smooth jazz and reads listeners letters, and has candles lit all over the studio. I don't know why I thought of that last part.

Great series so far! I loved every second of those first 3 chapters. :D

Chap3 is also a greatfollow-up to the previous two, especially considering not only the interaction between the two is as polished and hilarious as before, but now the two are actually growing closer to each other ^^

The CMC call was sweet and funny ^^ but the Blueblood one? Total awesome right there. Easily the part that moved me the most. It's good to see Vynil's soft core every now and then, even if it still comes out in her style, which makes it even better. So, props for that, you did a great job there. ^^

So, great job so far, and I'd love to read more of the duo, with whatever excuses you find to bring them about XD Keep up the amazing work.

This is brilliant. Pure comedy and drama rolled into one tight ball of epicness. It's difficult to descripe how amazing this short-story is. I mean, the Blueblood rant was just... Just... BRILLIANT!!!!! Ahem... *cough* Alright, I can't wait for the conclusion, but it would be nice if it continued.

I love this story. It's brilliant and touching.

Vinyl Scratch is appropriately spastic and passionate, while Octavia comes across as reserved, yet holding back an equally enormous passion. I like how the last transcript reveals that they're both so very much in love with music, and that's what brings them together. A wonderful story.

Well, we have only ever seen her once in the show, and she was DJ'ing a fashion show at the time. The techno/industrial stuff she was playing fit the venue; it doesn't necessarily mean it's her favorite genre. Really, unless we get more than that brief glimpse, (and given the last few lines of "Equestria Girls," I'm betting we haven't seen the last of Scratch) I feel that more or less any interpretation is valid.

The character development is a bit dramatic in this, but I guess it has to be to make up for their bickering at the beginning of the series. Somehow, the banter is quite enjoyable despite how redundant it could have been. I'd say Octavia's reaction to the phone call with Blueblood was just about right. DJ P0N3 is crazy here, but she can also be sweet.

But anyways, this just keeps getting more and more touching. It's now becoming one of my favs and I was so happy to see the "to be continued" at the end.

I have to say that the interactions between the two in part 1 and 2 really reminded me of Micheal and DOB in Agents of Cracked, yeah there are a lot more pairings like that but AoC was the first that popped into my mind

Yeah, next chapter is going to be the last one, at least for a while. Not necessarily the last one ever though. Kind of like the end of this story arc, like the "season finale."

I do have some loose ideas for future installments (I did have a really good idea for a Christmas special, but it'd be kind of weird to do that in July ...) but I wanted to wait until Season 2 of the show started, hopefully to give me some more material and celebrity ponies to use (since, to be honest, I've nearly run out), and I'd rather end the "season" on a high note rather than drag it out.

So yeah, there's the rationale behind that.

Though it'd be hard to write her without her stealing too much of the show away from everyone else.

Anyhoo yes this is an amazing series. This and the Luna progress series are some of the best MLP fanfics out there.
